Heron in the reeds

I painted this heron standing still among tall reeds, catching that quiet moment before it strikes. The vertical format lets the reeds stretch upward, and I used bold acrylics to bring out the contrast between the bird's sharp focus and the softer background. It's about patience in nature.

It's a WhatsApp message straight to me. I answer them all myself.
